Proper, grown-up soft leather and leafy cigar notes. Bold red fruits. Loved by Sommeliers and recently awarded 93 points from Decanter magazine. (A big deal in wine geek land...) 95% Tempranillo and just 5% Graciano.
When you're in lock down and things are getting a bit grim. When the stores are running out and you're eyeing up your kids wondering which would taste better, this is the perfect wine to wash those thoughts away - it's almost a meal in itself...
Reservas are only produced in years of exceptional quality - and from the most select vineyards. The Tempranillo is sourced from La Pasada, and the Graciano from La Montesa vineyard. After a long maceration the wine spends 12 months in 60% American and 40% French oak (both used and new), followed by 24 months in bottle.
