The setting for this winery couldn’t be more attractive. In the middle of a national park a brisk jog from Barcelona and just 2km from the Mediterranean sea. The family consider the only option is to farm organically to get the best from the indigenous vines they look after. This Pansa Blanca – or Xarel Lo – shimmers pale gold in the glass like morning sun on sea. Pale white flowers unfurl on the nose with the purity of fresh dew. On the first sip this wine bristles with life and energy! Super-ripe rock melon, sweet lime and frangipane with a resonant lemony finish. It’s a perfect aperitif that you will end up sipping all night long.
